Genre: fictional picture book
Themes: children, animals, movement
This is another wonderful book by Eric Carle, author of "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" and "The Very Hungry Catepillar". The beautiful tissue paper art illustrations are sure to catch a reader's eye. In this story a variety of animals display movements they can do with their bodies and children mimic the animal. This would be a great story to use with younger children when you need to get the wiggles out or when learning about gross motor skills.
