The Lemonade
Club is a wonderful story of Traci and Marilyn two best friends and their fifth
grade teacher, Miss. Wilcheman. Miss Wilcheman is a happy, encouraging and very
optimistic influence in her students. As Traci supports Marilyn in a life
changing experience, Miss. Wichelman is right by their side supporting and
loving them. As a way to stay optimistic the girls and Miss. Wilcheman form the
lemonade club and meet under on elm tree after school.
This book is a
longer than your typical picture book, and world not be suitable for a younger
group of children. It would best be used in a 3rd grade or higher
classroom. It is a wonderful book to help children when they are faced with
trials in life and gives a great example of true friendship and support.
