A wonderful book to use with children in preschool through early elementary, in order to teach about anger management. Sophie tends to get very angry, has a major temper tantrum. She then goes through the stages of anger finally using her coping skills she calms down.Her family is very happy when Sophie is no longer angry and the story ends very happily. This can reassure a child dealing with anger issues, that it is alright to get angry, but also reinforces the need to make wise choices when angry. We have all dealt with anger at some point in our lives and Molly Bang gives a great illustrated visual of how others may view an angry outburst.
